For the most part, downloading and installing APK files on Android devices is pretty easy. Even those that aren’t available directly through the Google Play Store can be located and accessed with no real technical skills required.
By contrast, things don’t tend to be quite as easy as far as Apple’s mobile devices are concerned. iOS has always been notoriously difficult to do anything with, beyond the basics permitted by Apple, which means that when it comes to downloading and using apps that weren’t created specifically for iOS, getting them up and running has typically meant jailbreaking.
Which for obvious reasons isn’t something everyone wants to do. Even when there’s unlimited free TV and movies up for grabs, the jailbreak option isn’t for everyone.
The good news is that there’s an alternative approach to getting Megabox HD working on your iOS device, one that doesn’t require any jailbreaking, or even any advanced skills/knowledge whatsoever!
Download Megabox HD For iOS: Install Megabox HD on iOS without Jailbreak
Too good to be true? Not at all – it’s simply a case of going about the process a little smarter. Plus it’s worth bearing in mind that by following this particular approach, you won’t in any way affect the warranty on your device in the process.
So whichever way you look at it, there really is absolutely nothing to lose and perhaps a serious amount (of TV and movies!) to gain.
How To Install Megabox HD on my iOS device?
The simple answer is that in order to get the Megabox HD app working, you are going to need another app to help you out. It all comes down to a process known as side-loading, which we will be using to first get hold of vShare. Once again, it’s all surprisingly easy and completely safe for your device.
Which devices is Megabox HD compatible with?
The latest version of Megabox HD works a treat with most recent builds of iOS. That said, you’ll enjoy the best experience of all if you have iOS 9 or iOS 10 installed. So you might want to think about updating your Operating system, if you haven’t done so in a while.
What is vShare?
If you’re wondering what’s the deal with vShare, it’s basically a third-party app store in its own right. Which means that the apps you can access and download via vShare are all created by independent developers and are not available at the Apple App Store. One of which being Megabox HD, alongside any number of superb apps, games, hacks, and tweaks.
How to get vShare on my iOS?
Unsurprisingly, vShare itself isn’t available via the App Store either. Which means you’ll need to side-load it onto your device, which involves following a rather extensive list of instructions.
You’ll find these instructions detailed in full over on our separate dedicated guide for vShare installation. Once you have vShare installed, you’re good to continue with the rest of the Megabox HD installation process.
How to install Megabox HD on iPhone?
In order to get the Megabox HD app up and running or your device, you will need to access it via vShare. We’ll assume that you have already followed the instructions to make this happen, so it’s now a case of following these simple steps that should work for any iPhone or compatible iOS device:
- Launch the vShare app on your iOS device
- Tap inside the search box on the top
- Type in ‘Megabox HD’ in the search box
- Tap Megabox HD in the search result
- Locate and tap the button ‘Download’ or ‘Install’
- A confirmation pop-up will ask you to confirm your action; tap ‘Install’
This will add the Megabox HD app icon to your home screen, which you can then tap to access in the normal way. However, when you launch Megabox HD for the first time, it will throw an error onto the screen saying ‘Untrusted Enterprise Developer’.
This all comes down to the fact that the app has come from a third-party source, so in order to access it you will need to manually make your device trust it, as follows:
- Go to iOS Settings from home screen
- Tap General
- Select Profiles & Device Management
- Look up for and select Megabox HD profile
- Tap ‘Trust’ with the name of the profile
- On the popup tap ‘Trust’ one more time
Once this is done, you can tap the Megabox HD app and access everything it has to offer. Should you encounter any problems along the way, the best advice is to uninstall both Megabox HD and vShare and give it a go once again from scratch.
Just as long as you follow the instructions in our guides to the letter, you should have no trouble whatsoever installing and using Megabox HD on just about any iOS device.
